Hello, back from my daughter’s,an uneventful journey down and also back ,well a bit if a problem at Piccadilly station coming home as the Metrolink to Bury is temporarily disrupted ,so a transfer to Viktoria station ,otherwise all easy .
Son met me at Bury’s Metrolink station.
Gosh! baby Lily “,Da da da da da da “— when her mummy asks “ do you want your dinner?” for some reason Lily blows a big raspberry ! It is really funny.
Flash Harry and Kyra and puppy came , all very good, it knows some useful commands ,sit, stay, “ aaaaaaaa “ when mouthing as puppies do.
Not so snub nosed as many Boxers are and complete with tail.
Great big brown eyes.
Went to a smallish Air museum, got to stroke some planes, and a tea room in Lavenham ——- you know all the crockery in pretty floral patterns but all mismatched.
I kid you not —— £10 for one small scone with butter and an Earl Grey tea that had once been shown a tea bag!
Son in law had a cream cheese platter, three short ( 3””) sticks
of celery, some rocket and four tiny tomatoes ,a teaspoon of chutney and a
‘ “doorstep “ ( very thickly cut bread ) cheese sandwich cup,of tea. £28————I made a point of saying the crockery did not match!
The day before we had gone to a small air museum ,which was so friendly and nice refreshments at a fraction of the price !
Did a big pile of ironing for my daughter, also the mechanics’ and salesmen’s uniforms .
Many unmarried so she knew there would be some uniforms left in washers to
get that horrible sour smell so has always washed them herself.
Off to Eye clinic soon so must go,
I have missed you all and hope all is as well as can be given tgere are many with illness.
Cheerio.Viktoria,
