New to NZ records. What's the least expensive way to find out details of 1885 death Certificate.?
Thanks in advance.

The print out (on the official bdm site) is the cheapest, and also the best as it has all the information provided on it,  and comes by email.

Hello,

You may wish to take your New Zealand research a step further. If the deceased left a probated will, you can search here, read/download for free. 😊 Just type in their name.

Welcome to the NZ board.

If you find references to records of interest that have not been digitized, but are held at the Auckland or Wellington branch, of the National Archives, it may be possible to find a local resident [RC member] who is prepared to research, and photograph such record for you, while there on their own research.

When able, some of us are prepared to do that for free. Our way of paying it forward for the help we in turn have received over the years.

Have you tried the archives website? Just put the name in and see what you can find. https://ash.howison.co.nz/?name
