Thank you softly softly. My great grandfather was a marine engineer, but as far as I know he didn't have a daughter called Eileen. I will do some searches though as one of my mother's names was Eileen. John Andrew was her grandfather.

There's no-one on the census records called Eileen in the household. It's a coincidence though that it's the same name, same age and same occupation. He lived in Norfolk though and I can't think why he would go to the Isle of Wight unless there was family there.

Eileen Chazalon was Eileen Maud nee Williams at the baptism of her daughter (also Eileen) in Montreal in 1910
see 1911 census, and Drouin Collecton
Eileen Maud born Queenstown, Ireland. (haven't found that birth yet, but name may be different, see below)

father was Adrian Chazalon
in 1921 the two Eileens and a son Eric Ronald born in Turkey

in 1939 the younger Eileen is using one of her other names Cecile and mother has become Ethel M. Born 1882.

I wonder if that's one then. John Williams had a daughter in 1883 called Ethel Victoria Maud Williams. John Williams was born in Queenstown which is now called Cobh. The plot thickens. Ethel was the daughter of John and his wife Emma and she was born in West Ham. I will have a better look tomorrow as it's all looking very complicated.
