I think you're referring to Woodbury Commons, which has a lot of outlet stores & is in Orange County, New York.  Woodbury in Nassau County is on Long Island and probably more than 2 hours drive from Woodbury Commons.

Yes, Woodbury Commons the shopping outlets. I went there instead of Coney Island which I always regretted. Luckily on my last visit to NY I finally got to go to Coney Island. 😁
