Birthplace name confirmation

Good Evening,

I know this may extremely obvious, but I would rather be safe, as I hate the thought of entering incorrect information on my Family tree, I have my Great x3 Grandmothers birth certificate, where her birth sub district is said to be in Plumstead and Carlton in the County of Kent, but on the actual document it looks like it says 87 soldiers cottages Charlton, Would you say that the Plumstead and Carlton is a spelling error? and should read Plumstead and Charlton?

Charlton was a parish in Kent.

Not sure where it says "Plumstead and Carlton"? The birth certificate clearly says Charlton. Useful info from Neale and mckha.  :D

Charlton Cemetery opened 1855 and the newspaper snippets below (1854-1868) identify the location of the "Soldier's Cottages" in relation to it..
On this map the road (not named) separating Charlton Cemetery and "The Cottages" to the south is "Charlton Park Lane".
I take "The Cottages" to be the "Soldier's Cottages"?

You can see "Barrack Field" and the south west gate on the 1st map at reply #6 - close to "The Cottages".
