Hello ,
Looking to see what happened to Thomas McLagan.
I have his birth certificate, born 1891 ,Perth ...parents are charles McLagan & Robina Gove Durward .

Although i know about the parents  & other son  Charles junior.
It's just Thomas who's the mystery .
Cannot find him with family in 1901 Cencus , ..Can't find a death for him  (there is one aged 3 but it's not him )..mmmmmH!  what could have happened to him ? i even spelt it with 2 g's in surname but nothing .
Any hints please ?

Hi Snowolf,

It looks like he died an infant in 1892 in Perth. Name Thomas MacLagan, aged 0 years, mother's maiden name Durward. Reference on Scotland's People 387/209.

Perhaps it didn't come up initially due to the different spelling? I used the phonetic matching option to cover the variants, just in case.

Always leave out the vowels when searching on SP. I'd use M*cl*g*n for this surname.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Thankyou Lewis ! that's the Thomas i'm looking for  :D, i didn't think of looking for Maclagan, so thats  a good bit of advice for me ,
