Please make the Engine Shed sharper & Clearer
« on: Sunday 11 May 25 10:18 BST (UK) »
This photograph of “Railway Row” in the village where I live was taken in the very early twentieth century.  I features an Engine Shed (Middle left) on the end that no longer exists.  Would it be possible for someone to enhance the photograph so that the engine shed shows more clearly? It looks like there was a window on the side. It would be nice if someone could colourise the photograph too. Graphic in first comment may help.  Many thanks.
The main names that I am researching into at the moment are Cadman,(originating from Bulkington, Warwickshire), Smedley, (Leicestershire and Derbyshire), Paynes (Leicestershire, Yorkshire and Derbyshire) and Udall - you will also find several other names on my web page. I look forward to E-Mails from anyone who would like to share or talk about our family history.

This graphic may help with creating the improved photograph showing the engine shed more clearly.

Many thanks for trying John.  Could the window have looked something like in this Hornby model? I wonder.

That's Brilliant. Thank you so much. I Edit the local Newsletter and I want to show local people what the building might have looked like. Where the building once was, is today a car park for a local club, with no sign of what was there before. This Photograph will help significantly.

I believe this is the block of houses.  I can't see any sign of the shed on a 1947 photo .

This is from a 1938 map. Looks like it might have been there then?
