I have been using the workaround for a while. When I originally contacted them about this they indicated they were working on a solution. I have raised a query with them as to whether it's included so we'll see what they say.

I was surprised to read of the problem with syncing described. I have FTM 2019 installed and have Ancestry's two factor authentication enabled. The only problems I have had with syncing have occurred when the weather has not been "Green" for syncing. This may be because I do not log out of Ancestry after each visit and have only used 2FA when forced to log in anew.
