Free Access to Ancestry UK WW1 & WW2 Records, Sunday 11th May
« on: Saturday 10 May 25 23:44 BST (UK) »
Ends at 23:59. Apologies for so little notice, I didn't get much myself.

Introduction
Search form

Scroll down below the search form for a looong list of collections from around the world, clickable to restrict searches to search specific ones. Includes some things not specifically war-related, e.g. I see some cemetery registers, censuses, and BMDs.

You may need an Ancestry UK registration (free), even if you have one for another country, and may have to enter via the above links.

As always with free periods, save anything of interest on your own device, as you'll need a sub to see it online after the offer closes.

Sme things may be free on Ancestry or elsewhere at all times, so check before spending all your time on a particular collection.
Researching Penge, Anerley, (including the Crystal Palace) and neighbouring parts of Beckenham, currently in London (Bromley), formerly Surrey and/or Kent.

Thanks Chris. And no need for the apologies... better we find out now than not at all.  :)

Unfortunately it looks like Fold3 records are not included this time.
