Could it be pauper?  Meaning poor
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos
Pick - Frocester Glos

I thought it may be that but would it still be recorded as a paupers grave in 1975
I also have a  record that he died on the Murray river near 051 haven't got a clue what  that means

All places in NSW have code numbers.
015 is the number for Albury.

Rhonda
My apologies - it is L016

In case you are still wondering, yes PAUP does stand for Pauper. There are a couple of different Pauper sections in the cemetery. See this map:
https://austcemindex.com/cemetery?cemid=938

If you emailed the cemetery they might be able to tell you if indeed it was a "pauper burial" or if this just a current name for the section.
