Frederick Clement Hayward b 1899
« on: Sunday 04 May 25 09:36 BST (UK) »
Frederick Clement Hayward was born at 49 St Clement Mansions Fulham on 19 March 1899. His father was Frederick David Hayward (occ surveyor) and his mother was Mary Louisa Hayward (formerly Hodges) The birth was registered by the mother (resident at the same address) on 5th April 1899.
I have found Frederick Clement Hayward in 1939 and 1921 and his death in 1989

I cannot find the following:
Marriage for Frederick David and Mary Louisa
The Hayward family in 1901 or 1911

Please can anyone help.

Note: There is what I think are a completely unrelated couple (John Hayward and his wife Amelia nee Hodges) producing children in Wandsworth at around the same time, so there are other Hayward children with mmn Hodges

In 1901 the occupants of 49 St Clements Mansions are Annie Fenn, her niece Lily Stone and a servant Minnie Ward

Tried to check the address in 1891, but doesn't look as these blocks of mansions flats had been built then. Highest number in Lillie road is 244 and they are after 380 in 1901

I haven't got the marriage cert yet, just his birth cert so far.
I have quite a large DNA match to a descendant of theirs, and I was concentrating on Frederick's side first, as Florence was born  in India, so that was going to be more of a problem or so I thought. But that's fallen out nicely in the last hour and I've found that Florence Penny is my relative after all and not Frederick.
The bonus is that as this DNA match and I have several shared matches at a similar level, so they're all likely to be my third cousins with the same CAs as well.

Ok, seems as though your half way there. Strange that Florence Mabel records her dob in 1939 and her death as 1898 when she was born 1896. Frederick David and family are hard to find post Frederick Clement birth.

I expect she knocked a couple of years off because she was older than her husband, and it stayed with her for the rest of her life.
