Hello Viktoria,

I hope your relatives are helping you, I also hope the company has some goodwill and the matter is resolved speedily for you.

Thanks everyone ,no phone call today nor to my daughter ,so I will phone again tomorrow .
I have a pretty strong case ,but they have the upper hand because they have my money!
As my daughter said and will say to them , to allow a test ride on one vehicle
which the customer would naturally think was the only one they had mentioned ,but was not that model but then sell the customer the model they has asked to test ride without a test ride is a sort of fraud .
The  one I asked  about is £5,888,but the  one I rode is £4,888 I now know.
They offer £3,950, it has 0.6 miles on the clock!
It also baulked at a reasonable kerb ,losing a front tyre ——-
which the Quingo scooters are supposed to cope with safely thanks to the fifth centre front wheel !That is their best selling point .
It will work out , Rip Off Britain is a good  idea, gosh I will have to get my hair done and a face lift etc ,because I might be on T,V.!
At the end of the day it is only ( a lot of ) money !

Cheerio, many thanks for your kind concern folk,I am not in Gaza or Ukrain or U.S.A.
Not being in any of those three are bonuses l
Ask many people in any of those three if a few thousand pounds lost would be worse than living where they are,I think I know what their answer would be .
Cheerio and many thanks .
Viktoria.

Well some eighty or so years ago I would be out with my friends ,all of us dressed up and with old net curtains like trains, paper roses we had made from crepe paper  left over from the Coronation of George V1 in our hair and posies too .A broom handle with crepe paper streamers tied to it we did s sort of Maypole dance getting the streamers tangled up in the process .
We  went  “May Queening “ each taking turns to be the Queen .
We sang at neighbours’ doors and would get a penny or so , later we had a party in the bowling green open pavilion .
Usually a shared bottle of Cream Soda pop and Smith’s crisps -the ones with the very salty blue one at the bottom of the packet.

Around this merry Maypole
In the month the month of May,
Pretty ( then a girl’s name ,) is crowned the Queen  of May
Roses are red, Violets blue .
If you haven’t got a penny a halfpenny will do
If you haven’t got a halfpenny
Then God bless you .

May Day must have been a school holiday .

We were easily  amused!

  Viktoria.

On this lovely morning I was indoors attending an informal talk and discussion about hypertension! The speakers were one of the village GPs and the surgery pharmacist, both of whom gave interesting, informative and well-illustrated presentations.  This is the first of a series of such meetings aimed at keeping patients (around 5000 of us) well informed and, I suppose, not needing to make appointments unnecessarily.  We even got tea/coffee and biscuits half way through.  Well worth the effort - I'm looking forward to seeing what future topics will be.  Balance and falls, maybe?  Many of us are somewhat elderly. :)

Well, number one son off on holiday soon ,their W,A.so he came this morning
to take me shopping for the few things I need ,got most things  delivered from Tesco.
I wanted to get them something for  their garden but he said better when they come back .
I got two Verbena plants from them for my birthday,an early present as they will still be away.
 All stocked  up and
the T,V. Mag and Manchester Evening News ,with pages of puzzles to keep me occupied.
The daffodils and tulips are almost over now in the front garden containers,I will put the Verbena plants there .
When bulbs out.

Such a drop in temperature ,back in warm cardigans again.
It was very early to be as warm as it has been ..

Posted a card to my sister in law, well son did for me,me, she will be 87 ion 6 th May ,she never forgets me. Well we remember each other .
She was my bridesmaid .
