Don`t know is the answer. The George W Smith with Mary Ann in Welney on the 1921 Census and 1939 register are not the correct couple.

Thought to date there was no mention on any records of the George W Smith who married Mary Ann Parfery in 1919.

Please re read thread details,  couple can be found in reply # 19 with link to census. Copyright rules for 1921 on posting details apply. They are in the Leverington Area, Mary Ann is older than husband.

Cas, where can I find this copyright rules for the 1921 Census, do they apply for deceased people and specific information instead of complete look ups (including potentially living people)? Thanks.

In the previous census (1911) when this George William Smith was living in the household of his father-in-law (William Bays), he was a bargeman.

1921 & 1911 census. People will normally use links to family search for 1911. It is common knowledge that these census and copy/paste transcriptions for others are against copyright here.

Others may explain in more detail.

Thanks, this is an old link though, do the same rules still apply? The 100 rule for the 1921 Census has ended in 2022, so I'm assuming this is a forum rule, nothing to do with the Crown Copyright.
