Wondered if anyone could shed any light on this family?
Thomas Ellis married Martha in Loppington about 1762. Martha died in 1776 and is buried there but as far as I can see none of the 8 children were married there.

It might help us if you list the children with their birth years and check whether any died as young children

Martha was buried 21 February 1776 wife of Thomas Ellis
Mr. Ellis was buried 24 January 1784 of Great Ness
ADDED
Great Ness is 9 miles from Loppington.
Maybe one of the girls married and moved there, or a son moved for work.

Did Thomas remarry?
After Martha died he had 4 children 10 and under.
