Family Historian 6
« on: Saturday 19 April 25 23:35 BST (UK) »
Hi Everyone.
I haven’t been on RootsChat for quite awhile, but after a long illness, I feel ready to start researching again.

I am using family historian 6,
But have forgotten a few things!
I wonder if anyone could tell me how to add things to the property box ie Occupations in particular, but also baptism details. At the moment I can only enter births and deaths.
I would be grateful for any help.

Thank you Wayne, for your swift response.

I do not seem to have worded my question quite correctly.
I know how to enter all the facts. ie residence, baptism etc. But I wish to include more events in the actual box to show in the tree its self. I have done this on many trees in the past , just can’t remember how.

Open a Tree Diagram
Right click anywhere on the Diagram background, and select Diagram Options (or go to the Diagram drop-down menu at the top, and select Diagram Options).
In the Diagram Options dialogue box, choose the Text tab.
From the text schemes offered, choose which range of events you want to show in each box, or create your own text scheme with New.
To try it out, click Apply.
Consider whether you want to use this scheme as the Default, and check or uncheck the 'Save as Default' box (bottom left).
Click OK.
