Jeremiah Markham - Mary Robinson

Hi Guys

I wonder if anyone can help me please ?

I’m trying to find a record of the marriage of Jeremiah Markham (1778- 1860) and Mary Robinson (1786-1845). I believe it happened around 1805. It appears that this would have been Jeremiahs second marriage, the first being in 1801 to Letitia xxxx, (surname not clear but various spellings). All I can find is that there are many references to the marriage, but also no records, I have also found other references regarding her surname such as Mary Arditt but still no records seem to be available.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

Is he the Jeremiah MARKHAM, labourer of Newbottle (and Mary) who has children baptised from around 1813 to 1825?

Modified to add:
His marriage in 1801 to Letitia ALSBART (?) in Deddington, Oxfordshire. And says in 1851 (at Newbottle) born in North Aston, Oxfordshire.

Event Place   Pillerton-Hersey, Warwickshire

Deddington, Oxfordshire is 15 miles SE of Pillerton Hersey, Warwickshire.

Doesn't help with a marriage, but there is a mention of Jeremiah MARKHAM of Brackley in 1849 involved in an action to recover monies owing on groceries and drapery. He admitted owing the money but the dispute was about how much he could pay back per month.

There is a Newbottle in our area but not in Northumberland.
