Hi all, I have found all but one of my Grandfather's sibling's graves in New Monkland EXCEPT for:
William Brown, born 19 Dec 1895, died 6 March 1967
and his (2nd) wife (by irregular marriage), Elizabeth Rose Smith born 3 Sept 1892, died 1 March 1974.
Their address when they died was 33 Mavisbank St, Airdrie.

I have contacted the council office but she can't find them but I'm sure they must be there.
Other than visiting the cemetery office, can anyone shed any light please?

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried looking for the burial place of William's first wife? They may be in the same plot.
According to Scotlandspeople free index, William and Elizabeth married in 1939, assuming he didn't divorce his first wife, she may be buried somewhere other than Glenmavis cemetery.
