brigidmac - if you have been picking dandelions, then I hope that you are in close proximity to the toilet  :) :)  Especially if as you live here in England.  They do have a reputation!   :o

Good morning all from outback South Australia!
 ...
I went in for my flu shot this week and the doc decided to jab me for pneumonia ...

Pneumonia jab!!

I have read a report from 2017 in the US National Library of Medicine of several reported cases in the past who have suffered pneumonia after vaccination.

I became interested, after my Mum was hospitalised about 8 years ago with pneumonia and Mum had had the Influenza vaccination (UK) every year, including that time.
 ----------

Of course, catching Influenza can be very serious too!

You take care, Mark

Yes all take care ... we make these decisions with some caution/ correct information and understanding hopefully, lesser of two evils and all that as well I suppose and individual choices of course.

Happy weekend all ...

Glorious sunny day and the cars are pouring in to our nearby seaside town, where we did a bit of shopping this morning.  Heaven knows where they are all going to park, but the shopkeepers are rubbing their hands with glee.  The children are on holiday, of course, so the town is extra busy.  Some people have got that holiday feeling and are wearing shorts and T-shirts or strappy summer dresses.  I belong to the "Cast ne'er a clout till the may is out" group and am still dressing in warmer clothes.  Back in the village with a new stack of library books I am planning to spend the afternoon either sitting out in the sun or sitting in a comfortable chair reading and preparing for singing in a concert tomorrow.  Probably a bit of both.

This sunny weather really does lift the spirits with its bright light, especially as it has brought everything out into blossom.  What a pity it is forecast to cool down and bring rain at the weekend!

My brother lives " down south" he complains bitterly  about cars who just park up anywhere they like, on one occasion  the police had to be  called because a disabled driver had blocked off the bus   lane, he says they park up and just leave the car for hours,   one area the big guns get there with their huge motor homes picnic and stay there leaving rubbish when they go.

Not sat in the garden yet, still trying trying to get rid  of this cold which is lasting far to long .

Enjoy  the weather but Gillg, I belong to your brigade

Just been inspecting my wisteria.  It was pruned a couple of weeks ago, and the buds have increased in size so much every day, and now the colour is really beginning to show through.  Hopefully everything will continue and I'll be able to look at my wonderful purple/mauve wall for some time.
