No idea, but here is our data from Drumnanagnach, at the top of Glengirnaig, which may help.

John Campbell 6,7   Anne McDonald   Moulin parish   William   23 Jul 1756 Moulin OPR
John Campbell   Ann McDonald   Drumnanagnach   Christian   17 May 1764
John Campbell   Ann McDonald   Drumnanagnach   Duncan   6 Feb 1772

6 John Campbell and Ann McDonald, married 7 Aug 1755 (Moulin OPR).
7 John Campbell's brother was Duncan Campbell in Loin Conlach, and they shared Drumnangnach with Duncan using one-third.

They used to say that Shinigaig was remote, well this one was just a bit further!

Duncan's father will be either a Duncan or Archibald. His mother will be an Elizabeth or Jean.

There is a natural birth of a Duncan at the sheiling of Fandui, on the hill north of Fortingall Kirkton, SW of Pitkerril to an Archibald Campbell of Balnoe, Kinloch Rannoch and Elizabeth McCallum of Fandui 10 Feb 1784.

There is a birth of a Duncan to Archibald Campbell and Elizabeth McDonald in Logierait 19 Aug 1771.
(Only child)

There is a birth of a Duncan to Duncan Campbell and Elizabeth Malloch at Moirlannich, Killin in 1768.
(1 of 7 children) Naming pattern of children does not match. Not this couple.

There is a birth of a Duncan to Duncan Campbell and Elizabeth McLaren at Ardeonaig, Kenmore in 1780. (Only child)

If his birth was recorded, it will likely be of these couples. The first one is more probable than the others, based his father being in Rannoch and mother being in proximity to Pitkerril.
If there is a missing child birth or a previous marriage, then the above could be incorrect.

Would you like to re-check your data as we are not finding these baptisms.

The only one for Archibald Campbell dated 15th June 1773 appears to be in Muckairn (Argyll and Bute)

Had the wrong John Campbell. Should have been John Campbell 22 Apr.1748 Fortingall,Perthshire married Elizabeth(Betty)Dow. I have an Archibald Campbell 12 Jun 1742 cragganour marries 2 Feb.1772 to Elizabeth MacNaughton 12 Feb. 1746 Fortingall. They had a Margaret Macnaughton Campbell b. 1773 Foringgall and married Duncan Campbell 20 May 1795 Cragganour. They immigrated to Walpole Haldimand Co. Ontario. Or at least this is what I have pieced together. Thanks for reviewing my work appeciate your feedback as gets confusing!  Roberta
