Looking at the 1871 census, Peacock Yard appears in this area described by the enumerator:
"Part of Township of Middlesbro. North St, Church Place, Dacre St, King St, Cross St, Mason St, Aiselby Place, with all the yards, passages, openings and other places not named on Boards as Streets."

This is not in the Eston area.
