Any knowledge of these two surnames please?
I suspect that I am not the first person to get them muddled up!
I would love to feel more confident about the surnames on both sides of this married couple.

Easily mixed up Cooch and Gooch - what written examples have you of the name?

Do you have her fathers name to go backwards?

Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos
Pick - Frocester Glos

MILLIEPEDE,
I regret that I gave up upon this line many years ago, as I was inexperienced and keen not to explore incorrect avenues.
I did make a speculative note below but it is most likely incorrect. :
Thomas Gooch OR COOCH ???
1730–
Birth 1730 OR 1742 ??? • of Bolnhurst Bedfordshire England
Death Unknown
====
Elizabeth GOOCH NEE ??? SPEC
1740–

One of my sources in which the children seem to match my line was 'Geneanet'

Going backwards from Alicia - baptism 10 Jun 1796 at Great Paxton parents John & Elizabeth.

John married Elizabeth Cooch at Great Paxton 13 Jun 1780
.....

Possible burial at Great Paxton for Elizabeth Morton 29 December 1850 age 89 - approx birth year 1761

Have you looked at George Morton who married Mary Cooch in 1782 also at Great Paxton.

Another Cooch marriage was a John Cooch of Great Paxton to Catherine Blake of Godmanchester in 1788

Closest I can find.

Holy Trinity , Great Paxton

ANN Cooch buried 20 Sep 1766 Daug of JOHN/ELIZABETH

EDWARD Cooch bapt 25 Oct 1767 Daug of JOHN/ELIZ

ANN Cooch bapt 25 Mar 1770 to JOHN/ELIZ

THOMAS Cooch bapt 02 Aug 1771 to JOHN/ELIZ

JOHN Cooch buried 27 Feb 1775, note Church Warden

Then the 2 Marriages mentioned

+ a ELIZABETH Cooch buried 29 Mar 1791 St Mary, Huntingdon no other details

My point is JOHN/ELIZ may have had earlier children named John/Elizabeth/Mary.

GEORGE/MARY only seem to have 4 children John/Elizabeth/George/Elizabeth.
John and 1st Elizabeth died young.

MARY wife of George also 11 Dec 1793. Unfortunately no age given, just Wife of George
