" chins", how many do you think Viktoria  has?, only joking.

It  looks a really nice day but deceiving , I put a summer top on, sat in the garden before my noisy neighbours get out there,  it is very cold but i do have a bad cough and cold so perhaps it is me, only out there minutes and came indoor, not after a tan, just Vit D.

Enjoy your day folks

It seems everyone further south is having lovely summery weather, unfortunately after quite a few sunny days here it's really chilly today and overcast. However, the signs of spring are in my garden, lots of little birds that I don't normally see. This morning I spotted a couple of goldfinches, bluetits and a very small robin. At least I think it was a robin, it was a bit fast for me to have a good look. And I think there are birds nesting in the ivy on the fence, I've seen one darting in and out of there. Have made sure the batteries in my ultrasonic cat scarer are working!

Lovely forecast for the rest of the week and temperature of 20° on Thursday, although they often change it nearer the time. A bit of warmth whatever it is will be welcome.

Let's hope it lasts but I can't help wondering what sort of summer we will have.

A good summer I hope but not too hot, I can’t stand excessive heat or cold these days unfortunately.

Yes  Louisa Maude ——— CHINS!!!
I only have one ,truly ,but a scraggy neck ——well at barely seven stones I am scraggy .

Pretty well all over  :(
Glorious if cool day here , have  cleaned out the shed !
Ooooh the junk I keep.
Found a brand new shovel ,the one I use is all of 59 years old.
I bought it the day after we arrived back in England , couldn’t find the Belgian one , in a shop I swear was the one in “Four candles”.
A bit the worse for wear now.p, not the shop msadly that is now a wine bar!
Can remember buying the new one , but being a Scrooge by nature I am saving it ———

Cheerio everyone ,look after yourselves.
Viktoria.

I will be al aches and pains after it all.
A hot bath and hair wash this evening after The 1%Club.

Well time to start  tea,  no rest for the wicked!
Serves me for reading THAT book in my mum’s dressing table  drawer- the bottom one! —-looking  for an old perfume bottle she kept as a little reminder of her late sister , “Oppoponax” , mmmmm.
Still a faint scent ,her sister had died very tragically about twenty years previously.

Well ,look after yourselves folks .
Cheerio. Viktoria.

Hey, ho!!!  Whatever the weather holds for us, there will be some who are upset to a greater or lesser extent.

Oh for the days when I could sit out in the sunshine and enjoy it, spending hours lying on a beach in the South of France with a good book - now I have to avoid it, due to melanoma.

Never satisfied, are we?   :-\ :-\

AND - I have to say that I'm still here, still causing chaos, still don't give a sh.., and as long as I've got a smile on my face, I can get away with a lot more than being a grumpy old fa.t!!  :-X

I enjoy the heat! 24C to 28C is ideal for me.
Been sunning myself yesterday and today - with Factor 50 of course!
Not warm enough until 11 or 12, though.

Keep it up Bumble,

I like a steady 75 degrees,  don't sit out much now, in and out to the garden I can get a bit of a tan  that at least looks as if I have seen the sun, today it has been really nice but it is chilly with a breeze, we have to make  the most of it, if the weather changes the poor birds will be confused.
