I had the order receipt email shortly after ordering but still had to wait for the will.

I eventually got this email on 27th March

Order Fulfilled
The probate document you requested via 20252000......... on 18/03/2025 relating to:
R, L R, (date of death)   was processed and is now available for download.

Census information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

I'm guessing that the ones that are available instantly have already been scanned for someone else, very likely a distant relative with a shared interest in genealogy.  I know it will never happen, because unlike gravestonephotos.com it's a government enterprise, but wouldn't it be wonderful if there was a way of making contact!
