Certificate from GRO

Hi I am hoping to obtain a copy of a certificate of death. The death occurred in Leeds in March 1958 , this is shown on FreeBMD. When I look on the GRO site though the records for that year are not available  ( the last date show is 1957 and then there is a gap up until 1984).
 Is there another way I can try or are these records just not available?

You can still order it with the reference details you have found. Click on place an order which is on the right on the GRO search page.

Thankyou Comberton. I’ve now ordered the certificate following your information.
I’ve been lucky, for a while now, that  for all the certificates I have needed Ive been able to order a  digital copy. Had to pay the £12 for this one from 1958 which will arrive next week by post but am pleased that I will be able to obtain the information I need.

The cheaper versions are only available for deaths to 1957 unfortunately

CaroleW - Fortunately,  I have been able to download several certificates at the £3 mark - so I’m looking on the bright side and counting what I’ve saved since the cheaper certificates were introduced!
I also like that you see the information as soon as you order.
