Hi, my gran Helen Clarke nee Hamilton had a number of siblings.

I have been lucky enough to find their dates of birth, spouses and deaths with one exception.

James was born in Greenock in 1878. Married Catherine Whyte or White. The last document I can find for him is the 1921 Census for Scotland. He is living in Gourock Renfrewshire with his wife Catherine and two daughters Kathleen and Betty.

I can find no record of his or his wifes death. Is it possible they emigrated or moved to another country of the UK?
Any help appreciated

Marriage was 1909 - spouse surname Whyte

Betty Bews Hamilton b 1915 mmn Whyte - married Robert John Paterson 1940 Glasgow - died 2001 Kirkcaldy Fife

Kathleen McCorquodale Hamilton was b 1910 - married William Gordon Ritchie 1943 & died 1975 Glasgow - per Scotlands People

Thanks yes I've traced the birth of Kathleen and Betty, both born Paisley. I had Betty's marriage but thanks for the info on Kathleen.
I have the births of James Hamilton in Greenock and Catherine's birth in Clydebank. Just having problems finding records of their death.

Believe James, Catherine & Kathleen appear on Glasgow electoral registers at least from 1934-36 at Holmlea Road,Cathcart, Glasgow.

No info given re Catherine's  birthyear - have you ruled out the 1949 death in Cathcart aged 67 given her middle name was McCorquodale

Death in Cathcart 1952 for a James Hamilton aged 73
