On the 1939 register, what does n o c 46-66 mean against someones occupation. The person was a farm worker but also worked at the radar stations at Daventry and RAF Stenigot for a while.

Very long shot(Goggle search) based on you saying he worked at the radar stations at Daventry and RAF Stenigot

Network Operations Center (NOC):

This refers to a centralised location where IT teams monitor and manage computer, telecommunications, or satellite networks.

Not sure what the numbers mean, could be building or room numbers.

Like I said long shot  ???
Collison & Watts in Headcorn & Hollingborne (Kent UK) & Michigan (USA)
Kavanagh in Wexford (Eire) Michigan & California (USA)
Salisbury, Burls & Vanstone (UK & Gibraltar)

The rest of the page seems to be farming occupations but I can't think of anything agricultural for 'private NOC'. I think it must be the initials of his regiment or military organisation. 4566 will then be his regimental number. (I think it's the top of a five not a hyphen)
