There maybe a tree on Ancestry.co.uk or Find my past ! that has that 1871 census with Ann Taylor age 14 in the tree. Stocks or Walker
I would work on John Stocks first to see if he is in Ancestry website tree owners tree or on FindMyPast with a family tree of the Stocks family history with 1871 census with Ann Taylor 14 in it. in the facts section profile page of John Stocks with descending life history in years ( through 1871), this could have his siblings brothers & sisters on the profile page and one sister who married a man called Taylor & the sister is mother of Ann Taylor age 14 in 1871 census born 1856/1857.
(If you get no result with a Stocks tree! then look for John Stocks
wife Annie Elizabeth Walker for Ancestry website tree or FindMyPast owner of a Walker tree that has that Ann Taylor age 14 in the 1871 census in it and a sibling sister who married a man called Taylor and the mother of Ann Taylor)
Looking for a marriage of Ann Taylor born 1856/1857 post 1871 !! her age at marriage found ( first on Familysearch) maybe the only positive way to say a marriage of an Ann Taylor marriage maybe her ? later search on a church marriage register on film in Archives or Ancestry. co.uk. or FindMyPast or LDS libraries.
You could be lucky and by finding a tree on Ancestry.co.uk ( or .com) or FindMyPast (Both have free access in most main uk libraries if you don't subscribe to Ancestry.co.uk.)
-------
Alternatively you could buy the marriage certificate in Halifax off the GRO - July - Sept Qtr - 1852
or the Halifax parish church register 1852 entry maybe on Ancestry.co.uk on film at a main library as said if you are not subscribed to the website.
The Halifax 1852 marriage certificate should give
both the fathers names and occupations as a starting point to look for possible baptisms of siblings of John Stocks in Halifax or Annie Elizabeth Walk in baptisms in Huddersfield.
Again - one of these Stocks or Walker girl siblings will be Ann Taylor's mother (Obviously Ann's father was called Taylor)
Good Luck
Dobby
