Thanks L.M.
It is not a big cemetery and almost always dog walkers there.
Two entrances, one on our road and one the next avenue.
You can see right across it if anyone else there etc as it is steeply sloping .
However you never know.-
On the other side of our road next to the cemetery entrance is an Ambulance station ,with a big area where the vehicles would park - but now closed ,so plenty of space there for wheelies!
I will be careful.
Another lovely morning ,looking at my bulbs ,only two of quite a few snowdrops have come up ,some muscari, daffodils but really short stemmed ,and tulips not yet in flower.

My mind goes back to “ Tulip Sunday “ in Philip’s’ Park ,near the Etihad Stadium ,we lived close by and each May I think the central area of huge flower beds was crammed full of tulips ,all colours and there must have been thousands ,all planted by the groundsmen .
It was a yearly ritual and many many visitors.
We teenagers would attend Sunday School and go for  an afternoon walk to the nearby park ,then home for tea, evensong and then the pictures-
Someone’s Mum’s for coffee and home to get ready for school next morning doing any neglected homework in bed!(  by the light of a torch if Mum and Dad had gone to bed.
Dad had to be up at five O’clock to get to Manchester’s Smithfield market for fresh fish and green grocery for the shop .
He went every day on the “ workmen’s special” bus which stopped opposite our shop.
We were never up late really.

Well must get on ,best wishes for those unwell or with problems ,and for improvements so life is not so difficult.
Cheerio.Viktoria.

My mind goes back

Happy to say I quite enjoyed the school reunion lunch gathering today, plenty of people to chat with as a good number of familiar faces and acquaintances from around my hometown over the years, though only about 10 or so from my year attended and a nice catch up  8)

Enjoy the rest of another weekend, very little of it left for me now ...
