I thought the 1949 was her death entry as her husband is named Robert Alexander Storey on the probate record

This isn't the right couple. Eleanor Davison Macnay was born in 1904.

Please see my reply #4 - Eleanor D. Storey born 1904 and her husband John Sidney Storey were in Brigg Lincolnshire in 1939.
