I would suggest that they never married
I was also going to suggest that.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

I think I'd wait until thomsos tells us what Jane's parents' full names are from the birth and death certificates already viewed.

There's a death of Christina Moor or Peel, mmn Holloday, aged 45, in 1856. Unfortunately because it's 1856 it won't give the name of her husband unless it was he who registered the death, but it should give her parents' names and it might contain further clues.

It won't, of course, help in the search for George Williamson's parentage, which is, I think, what thomsos is really looking for?

As for which cert to view with softlysoftly's 6 spare credits?

It could be him in the 1941 but I have no idea who his parent were, i really need to find a marriage or death with Janes name on it!
One of the marriage certificates of George W 1857-1922 should list the occupation of George senior, Jane's name, and whether or not George senior was still living. I think I'd go for the first one, to Ann Major.

What does thomsos most want to see?

On Geo Williamson to Elz Anderson 1890 he has his parents down as Geo Williamson Dec. and Jane Williamson ms Peel, its the same on MC to Ann Major 1880, so according to that he is dec.

Could he have died in a prison?? or fled the country?

He was in Duke street prison for 28 days in 1862 and thats were any trace of him stops

If he had died in prison in Scotland there should be a death certificate.

So perhaps he emigrated after he was released from prison.
