lillian rose morgan and william lewis rees

Hello.  I wonder if any one can help me.  I'm trying to find a marriage record for Lillian Rose Morgan B.19/08/1898 and William Lewis Rees B.09/11/1879.  Lillian Rose was born Morgan.  Her stepfather was Mr Challicomb.  Lillian married a Mr Samuel Edgar Collins on 29th September 1898.  In the 1911 census she is with Mr William Lewis Rees B1879 in Llanwanno.  They are still together in the 1921 census with her children from the previous marriage and had three more children.  I have spent ages looking for a marriage record.  With her surname Morgan or Collins.  I even looked under Challicomb.  The only thing I can think of is that maybe they didn't get married and lived DeFacto.  Her parents were Edward and Matilda Morgan.  By 1891 Matilda is a widow. Mr Challicomb is mentioned as a father-in-law, in William Lewis Rees funeral notice in Cardiff 1934. So far I have searched FindMyPast, Free BDM, Ancestry, MyHeritage.  The crystal ball doesn't tell me anything either :-)

Wasn't her first husband Samuel Edgar Collins? not Sydney

Samuel was still alive in 1911 and had Sydney with him in London.  He stated that he was married so it seems unlikely that Lillian had remarried.

A sad story but it explains why Samuel had Sydney with him in 1911.

I'm not sure how you find out about an order of separation in Glamorganshire.

No middle names could this be a possible entry for their marriage

Daisy Petal.  Thank you for the Newspaper clipping.  Sadly, domestic violence happened back then too. Distressing situation for her to be in.  Good for her for putting an end to the situation.

Ladyhawk.  I was wondering the same thing for the registration in 1918

Ive queried with the GRO UK regarding a divorce record for the couple.

Glamorgan Archives seem to have divorce records from 1927, it might be worth contacting them to see if they can tell you where the earlier records are,
