Hi

This looks like Patrick and Margaret in the 1911 Census, with 3 children:-

From several previous posts, you have this information, Nora and here you are wondering about how he learned his trade.

Here is your previous thread re Saddlers in Dublin and I fear you may not get any further
https://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=765131.0

1901 census shows many Saddlers etc.
There are snippets in Irish Newspapers which advertise Saddlers and Harness makers too.

I would like to express by thanks to LH, Heywood, and Kiltaglassen for all your efforts on my behalf.
You are all so helpful and kind.
I have all the above information, marriage, births, census records etc.,
The one thing I am missing is Patrick Mitchells birth.
I know he was born in St. Thomas parish, in 1870, and I think he was baptized in the old St. Thomas Church on Marlborough Street.  I cannot find any birth or baptismal records for that church, so maybe they no longer exist? I seem to have hit a brick wall on this one!

Thanks again.
Nora Lush
