I still have loads of my marbles too TY  :P ... also those decorative glass pebbles in various colours for craft etc along with a couple of other shapes. the green pebbles look quite good in a vase too.

Sounds like you gave yourself a nasty whack Viktoria, we can make light of these things I guess but not really fun knocking ourselves around ... and so many possiblities too in the home to do yourself mischief at times! Be safe and well all ...

Have had the lovely sunshine again part of today though it's quite overcast here right now late afternoon and still warm but expecting that Autumn chill as day closes in in a few hours ....

Viktoria,  hope you are feeling better after you knock on the head.

Yes, five years of the diary,  doesn't seem possible,  does it, thank goodness for it.

Seems there is a change in the weather,   having stripped   my bed to replace new bedding I  was hoping to have it out today, not looking to happy at the moment, should have done it all last week, was a big job moving my bed and under boxes, not so long ago I did it on my own but I think my got up and go have got up and gone, but a good job done.

Enjoy your day folks

Have just been for a rather bracing walk! On my walk I saw a bin lorry parked off the main road with a fire engine behind, the firemen were hosing down the contents of the lorry. Our local council regularly tells people not to put batteries or electronics in their bins as they can cause fires in the lorry. Presumably this fire was as a result of people ignoring that instruction.
So please remember folks,  NO batteries or electronics in your bin!

Lucky you Roobarb, a bracing walk is a pipe dream.

Today is the first day of my fourth week in hospital. We’ve been in lockdown for two days because of a patient with an infection, for some mysterious reason they have let her go home because her husband cried for her. The only two of us not with dementia can’t understand the logic. It even prevented me having two days of physio, have been sat here doing what exercises I can. Now waiting to see what delight the they have for lunch today.

Gripe over, hope everyone else is as well as can be.I guess there must be lots of spring flowers in bloom. Viktoria are you on your Qingo yet?

Oh Jebber,  didn't realise you were still in hospital.

My local hospital  has some words closed due to infections, it is best to contain it but strange they let one patient go home.

Your time will be up soon for good behavior,  take care

I'm so sorry to hear you're having such an awful time Jebber. That's a long stay in hospital and being restricted even further must be so frustrating. Good on you for doing some exercises despite the lack of physio, very much hope you're soon up and about.

I have crocuses and snowdrops in flower in my front garden and a couple of daffodils which are in a large pot in my back garden. I can understand why flowers are not allowed in hospitals any more but it's such a shame.
