Glad to read your good news Jebber, every little helps.
What causes your balance problems? Menier’s?
That must be very difficult,  needing a zimmer frame and one arm out of action!
Do you have Calcium and Vit D supplements? I do ,but must watch how much Vit D I get other ways such as milk .
Git a bone scan after years of none! Used to be regular six monthly ,but suddenly started again .

Look after yourself and let us know .
Thanks for your kind words.

Viktoria.

Caw1,  we have a neighbour (at the bottom of the garden fortunately), who has let the trees he planted absolutely on the border between his land and ours, decades and decades back -they're huge, and one of them a sort of scots pine, scatters cones and broken off twigs all over our shed and greenhouse roof structures. In fierce storms we always worry about one or more falling on these buildings and raised beds at the bottom of the garden, as the prevailing winds would direct them onto our land - but as these monsters don't affect him, he's not bothered. Grrrr!

Well phone and iPad all “ converted “ painlessly , by a nice young man.

Was in the middle of an email !

Washing in and will iron this evening , whilst watching The Ruth Ellis story.
What a travesty of justice. She had just miscarried David Blakely’s baby, when she saw him with another woman.
No allowance was made re her mental state , a very cruel unfeeling verdict .

No idea what to have for tea, might have a break from cooking ,lots in freezer that can be cooked  from frozen.

Reading a book, heavy going, present from grand daughter.
About some coffin boxes in Winchester Cathedral, containing bones of early Saxon Kings and Archbishops ,opened and thrown about by Cromwell’s soldiers during The Civil War.
Gathered up and all together, I am presuming  DNA methods were used to
sort out at least bones from the same individual,  but no definite identification.
Back in boxes again ,rest now above the choir screen.
The old history of those kings ,and queens, is hard going .

Well Cheerio.
Look after yourselves.
Viktoria.

Son has arrived safely ,

TY - Always difficult when neighbours are unreasonable over-tree heights and lack of care!
Both us and his neighbour the other side have taken advantage of, with his sons blessing I might add, chopping so many strangled ivy clad trees that frankly were quite dangerous as the chap helping my OH nearly came careering over the fence when one fell 😳😳.
Today was spent chopping up and getting rid of all the ones in our garden… his looks like a forest has been felled… I love trees but these had really gone beyond all reason.
Glad to hear all your telephone changes have worked out well for you Viktoria!

All the best to everyone and hope KG is recovering well too.

Thanks,Caw, yes seems O.K. And IPad too .
Just got to post the old stuff back in  a big bag sent for that.

Off to bed now , eldest son might come tomorrow to do as much as he can to make the threshold  of the shed stronger .
The scooter is heavy .
I need some shelves in the shed  to get out of the house stuff at present in the utility room , the fire guard I had for Flash Harry when he was little .
A much smaller one does for Kyra as She is never alone with just me as F,H was.

Well my little pond is uncovered ,the fish came immediately  when I tapped the side and ate peaceably together, normally a big yellow/ gold one is a
bully . I do like them but too sunny a place means too frequent cleaning out !
Not found a suitable home yet.
Phoned my friend and she  mentioned a Care Line necklace she has connected to a central point who will get emergency services to you asap.
Ł7 a month.I will look into it.

Well bed calls ,so look after yourselves and I look forward to your posts everyone .

The care line necklace  is a good idea, some have one on their wrist , worth investing in , I know quite a few who have them.

Very bright and sunny today, had an amazing  few days with strong sunshine, makes the whole world seem a better place.

Hope all those who are recovering are feeling much better and confident.

Viktoria I have had a care line for five years it's a life saver. I have only had to use it once, when I fell last month and fractured my shoulder and couldn't get up. I have a pendant and wear it all the time, I only take it off when I go to bed when I loop it over the zimmer so it's within reach. I prefer it to the wrist ones which seem too bulky.

There are are several different types, some work mainly indoors, some a distance from the house and others that work when you are out and about. The charges vary according to the type so depending on on your need. They like you to test it regularly, I press mine once a month.

Viktoria, the boxes that the jumbled bits of earlier kings are stored in, in Winchester, are very underwhelming! I went there many years back, thinking of the Jane Austen connection, and even then, there was a sort of archeological research group on that endless verge of finding it all out! So nothing really changes, does it?

I suppose "they" will get round to messing up / updating our 'phones too, soon - the base unit has been giving out an annoying little "Pip!" for weeks now. No idea why......
