I recently bought a 64gb sd card for use in my Samsung tablet. I did a lot of research beforehand, checking the maximum size that can be used in my tablet, I also read a lot of reviews for the particular card I was looking at (it's a reputable brand) and instructions on how to insert it properly.
When the card arrived I inserted it and proceeded to transfer lots of images and documents to it. They're all showing up in the file manager and I can open them from there, the storage on the sd card is showing as 1.12gb. The internal storage percentage has also decreased.
The problem I'm now encountering is that when I open an image I get a message saying 'Some gallery features may not work. Go to My Files to free up some space." I haven't had any problems in editing and saving images since I moved them to the sd card but there is another problem.
There are a lot of apps on my tablet that need updating but when I go to do so I get a message saying there isn't enough space and suggests apps that I might want to remove. I don't want to do that and the advice I've read is not to store apps on the sd card.
I'm thoroughly perplexed, can anyone help please?
