Looking for 2006 obit Calgary
« on: Thursday 27 February 25 01:33 GMT (UK) »
There is a very brief memorial for this man on Nov. 11, 2006 (and then again in 2008 on Remembrance Day). He was a WW2 vet- Royal Canadian Corps of Signals. Is there any way to find a full obituary or death certificate/funeral home record for this man- UMPHERSON, Leonard. He may have passed prior to 2006, I have no idea but 2006 would be a good start.

Unfortunately, there are no death certificates online for that time frame.

Can see the Remembrance Day Memorial 2006 and then 2008 but nothing more at the moment.
Who was Delores, do you know ?  Wondering if he might have had another name ?

I can only guess that Delores was his wife and as far as I know, he only went by that surname and was born in 1925. A mystery.

Might it be worth an enquiry at the cemetery where the parents are buried ?
