Just wondering how to search for past Rootschatters.
realising that quite a few that have helped me in the past no longer seem to post these days

Do you mean in the real world or here on the site?
Just wondering how many rootschatters there have been ove the years....anyone know?
And most use a pseudonym anyway, sensible people!

That's a lot of users! I could only find the bit with how many are currently online, just over 2000.
But does anyone actively "leave" Rootschat?

A few people over the years (a very small portion) have left for good but most probably disappear through death or ill-health.

aghadowey - guess you're right.
I started on Rootschat when the old bbc site was stopped. Just lately a few names came up into my mind and I wondered what happened to them - hence the reason for my question. (Maybe the names are not even correct!!)

You could try looking back at some of you oldest topics and see who relied with information or suggestions.

Also - if you recall their User Name - input that into the Search Box at the top of the screen - posts they have been involved in should show up.
THEN - click on their user name to see their profile. That will show when they were last 'active' on the site.
Places of interest;
Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Southern Ireland, Scotland.
