Re: Birth of Joseph McHugh

Hi All,

I am hoping someone from the area might be able to help me

I am tryimg to get the birth of Joseph McHugh a Coal miner when he was in sterling Scotland after the wedding.  it looks like he was born in Meenaboy which is near Gortahork I would think as he got married in Gortahurk on the 9 Jan 1914 to Mary Sweeney

They had a daughter Mary McHugh born 24 September 1915 in Breasd Street Stirling when her mum died giving birth

Any help with this would be very much appreciated as I am just hitting brick walls.

Thank you all for all your kind help

Kieran

Did Joseph marry again after his wife died? Where and when? if so, a Scottish marriage record will give names of both parents.

Did he die in Scotland? Where and when? if so his Scottish death certificate will give names of both parents.
