McIllhuaish
« on: Friday 21 February 25 10:24 GMT (UK) »
My apologies for writing in English, but I am hoping a Gaelic speaker can help me. I'm researching a family of mine with the name McIllhuaish (various spellings) that lived in the Loch Tay area. Could anyone explain what the name means? I've an idea about the first part, McIll, but no idea with the rest. Also I'd love to know how it would be pronounced.
