Oh my! I wasn't expecting all this wonderful work. I can't thank all of you enough for your fantastic efforts. I would never have believed the photo could ever look like these.
I can't wait to show my husband (who is having chemo) these photos of his father. I'm sure they will bring a tear to his eye ((they did for me).
Thank you so very much, kind people.

loord74,

I'm sorry if you feel I was unduly criticising your work. I appreciate how much time and skill these processes take, and for what it's worth I think your version is excellent in the way that you have rendered the skin tones. And as you say, the collar and epaulettes in your version are the correct colour.

I have amended my original comment because it was unfair.

Andy
Appreciate your good intentions .
Best regards

..... I have decided to leave this site...
So sorry you're leaving Rami. Your restorations are brilliant. I think, due to the advanced techniques you use, it can be difficult for most to understand and appreciate what goes into them. I'm glad I took the time to ask.

loord74 - I was very impressed with the quality of your work, the end result is amazing, you can even see the whiskers on his face. My partner's great uncle was in the Coldsteam Guards, we don't have a photo of him sadly.
