Ancestry put them as a great match as well.
Difficult to say one way or the other with valid points raised for and against.

similarity 62 %, different persons

According to Facecomparison
Face similarity ratio: 81%, the same person

I have my doubts, the ears look different to me and the lips are also fleshier in the photo of the second person.

At the risk of starting an argument ;D, I really don't think AI is there yet. Look at the faces that AI produces in some "restores", with the result producing different people altogether, appearing nothing like the real thing. In distinguishing facial features, human observation is still way ahead.

I agree with Peter.  ;) Chat GPT, we call it "AI" -it is a large language model with "inherent inaccuracies and biases". Not an expert, but have a son in the industry.

They just don't look like 'normal' people. They remind me of the photo cards that came with ? Dollar chewing gum  in the 1950s!
