I haven't previously come across someone transferring from the Canadian to the British forces, but I presume that was because he was British originally.
I will proceed to add him into my lists -- again, most grateful.

This is interesting because not all my court martial subjects do forfeit all medals. Some forfeit just gallantry ones.

According to his Canadian service documentation, linked to by hanes teulu, he was put on the Canadian medal rolls. There is no mention of him having been court martialled in his Canadian records when he re-enlists in 1918.
