Lt J.H. Corbett, 3/London

I have been unable to track this man down, or even to find anyone called 'J.H. Corbett' (I don't know his full names) as an officer in the London regiment. All I know is that he was cashiered in April 1918. Can anyone help me identify him?

On the Military Hospital Admissions and Discharge Registers there is a Second Lieutenant J H Corbett, 2/3 Battalion London Regiment, aged 32, admitted 2/6/1917, ailment Pyrexia of unknown origin. Could this be him?

Added- found a John Hampton Corbett, 22037, Corporal Canadian Infantry,then 2nd Lieutenant Imperial Forces also 2nd Lieutenant London Regiment, could be your man?

Per a 1917 Army List his seniority date was 14 December 1915. It seems likely that he was John H Corbett who was given a commission on that date to the London Regiment, having previously had a temporary commission with the Bedfordshire Regiment.

Here is one possible candidate.
John Hampton Corbett born c1885 possibly Q1 1885 Wrexham 11B 267 mother's maiden name Powell. If this correct then his parents were Robert Corbett Police Constable b. c 1856 and Annie Powell b c 1857 married Q1 1877 Wrexham 11B 366. in 1891 census the family were living at 1 Burton Terrace Ruabon, Wrexham, Denbighshire. I think SoftlySoftly's suggestion is more likely.
 Service record.
Corporal 22037 in 16 Canadian Infantry Imperial Forces, commissioned 17 Jun 1915 (London Gazette Issue 29197) into London Regiment as 2Lt, later promoted Lt.
On 2 Jun 1917 2Lt JH Corbett 2/3 London Regiment admitted 2 General Hospital and treated there for 18 days before being transferred to 1 General Hospital. Medical complaint PUO. At the time of his admission to hospital he had been with the Field Force for 5 monthsHis age was given as 32  and he had 2 years service in the Army.
Medal card (in WO372/5 - see below) shows that he forfeited all medals to which he would have been entitled (probably British War Medal and Victory Medal), which accords with him being cashiered.
He appears to have married Nora Christine Thoday at Hornchurch on 18 Sep 19815, while stationed at Reed Hall camp Colchester. His father named as Robert Corbett, country gentleman (possibly an exaggeration). You didn't ask about his later life so i haven't looked any further.
