Going back to John Allnatt 1814
His mention of sisters Sarah and Mary

They are daughters of Edward Allnutt willof 1758 Maltster.
Sarah married Charles Pickman 6 November 1757 by license.
Mary married John Tuckwell 12 November 1768 by license.
---------------------

So John the nephew of William 1784 is the son of Edward and Sarah nee Pearcy.

William is not the son of Edward.
Edward 1758 has a brother John  who could be William's father, needs more research.

Thank you for so much information.

It does look very possible that William's father is Edward's brother John. I have been unable to find any information on John yet.

I thought that the Allnatt family all resided around North Stoke and Wallingford but the 1734 marriage of Edward Allnatt to Sarah Pearcy says Edward is from Bradly. Whereabouts is Bradly?
