Sandra, you are wonderful. Thanks for straightening me out with regard to Nora Logan. I misunderstood about the incident in 1952. Poor woman losing her husband so soon after marriage.
And thanks for all the Telford Obituaries. I love it that so many of them give the date and place of birth.
Did you notice that I posted the information about the death of George A.M. Johnston which was found by Greenwood cemetery? Not that it clarifies where he fits in this scheme of things.

Yes I  was listed in mortality schedules with same dates.

Just to muddy the waters - also a George J Johnstone buried Greenwood Cemetery.  June 1862 (different section and lot)  However, see below, more info said born USA ?

I had not noticed that Daniel and Nora had been married three years by 1910. Thank you.
I found this which would be a slim chance to be the William Johnston who was married to Eliza Fish in Scotland and then disappeared. He died in the New York Almshouse.
