B:01 Apr 1903 coolnaman , coleraine, Ireland
D:Dec 1988 Oswestry, Shropshire, England and Wales

I have a photo which shows her and 4 children 1 being my Mums Mum Sarah , but all I have is  their Names Matt and Albert  and 1 daughter who I understand may still be alive but I have been unable to establish contact

I am looking to Visit Ireland in June was wondering if a visit to Proni would  provide info as online this is not avaialble

Thanks

Were the children illegitimate?

If not - was Hogg her married name or her maiden name?

When did she arrive in England?

In England - to search for children born to a marriage you would show the surname of the children then the mothers maiden name.  www.freebmd.org.uk

Mary Jane wilson hogg was born on 1 April 1903 in Coolnaman, Desertoghill, Londonderry, Northern Ireland, her father, James Hogg , was 40, and her mother, Agnes Roxbrough , was 39. She married Alexander Jamison Tomlinson on 13 November 1923 in Colraines Register Office, .

They had four children during their marriage i believe  they were  born in  Cahney/garvagh  my Nan was as thats whats on her birth cert, born on 2 July 1924 but dont know if she was first born

She died in December 1988 in Oswestry, Shropshire, at the age of 85. but believed she moved to England in the 1960s/70s as I remember seeing her as a kid

aghadowey (in reply #4) has identified the only child born to the Tomlinson/Hogg marriage in the period 1922 to 1925.
