Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for blood relatives of Clerk 3 rd Class Robert Henry Grant - died 19/1/1919 - Royal Air force - buried St Marys Churchyard. Sholing.
(as per find a grave) Clerk 3rd Class Robert Harry Grant, 190295 Royal Air Force. Married to Lydia Frances Lucy White on 26 December 1910. Lived at 1 South View Road, Bitterne Manor, Southampton, and worked as a grocer's assistant pre-war. Enlisted on 30 May 1918 and died in service from appendicitis, age 34. Accepted for commemoration as war dead on 5 November 2022, following research by In From the Cold Project.
The Commission are in the process of producing a special memorial to commemorate him as it is not possible to mark his actual grave.
