1841 Census Colchester, Albion Court St Botolph's
Thomas Pickess 22 not born in county
Harriet 30 not born in county
Harriet 0 mmn Reeves
Was Harriet his wife a widow ?
According to familysearch Harriet Nelson (nee Reeve) was a widow when she married Thomas Pickess in 1840 (Dedham) but can't find a marriage between a Harriet Reeve and a man surnamed Nelson.
Annette
I can't find any children with the surname Nelson, mnn Reeve.
I'm wondering if they "eloped"
Possible the marriage was never documented, possibly by accident, or the groom died before it could be.
