Well here we are folks, by popular demand, seems most rootschatters prefer it weekly,  but we can also add to the monthly one if the subject appeals.

Sun out and looks a nice day but oh boy, we have had a hard frost, thought there would be as last night it was a beautiful clear sky and a bright moon.

Thank you  :-* :-*

Just been to the surgery to give my blood for its onward journey to the hospital.  And then, to add to the joy of a Monday morning, a visit to the dentist later.  Tomorrow is a visit to hospital for another scan to see if they can find the second brain cell.  Deep joys!!

Good morning - thanks LM for starting the new week..

Not such a good start to the day so far.. dull and cloudy, no frost last night though but still a chilly 4C outside… no wonder my window cleaners just messaged me to say he’ll be here about 10am not 9 am! Who can blame him.

Off to yogalates in an hour so that’s my start for the wk… makes me feel 10ft tall when I come out all that stretching, bending etc wonderful.

Hope others have a good / better week.
Good luck with all your appointments BumbleB.

A bright start here and a good forecast for the day, I might do a bit of gardening. The edges of the back lawn are all higgledy piggledy and there's quite a lot of dead stuff that needs removing.

I was still aching yesterday from a new Pilates class on Thursday. Toning class tonight, it's a bit like Zumba, which in my case means losing track of what moves are next! I take comfort from the fact that I'm by no means the only one.  ;D

Didn't get a lot of gardening done, despite the mild forecast there's been a chilly wind. Never mind, at least I got some more of the dead stuff into the garden waste bin, ready for when they start collections again.

Morning all
We’ lost’ a whole day yesterday as OH ended up in an ambulance off to hospital early doors with asthma and a chest infection. When I left him last night he was still in an and e but he text to say at 3.40 am today they’d got him a bed on a ward. Mobile phones are wonderful!
Absolutely brilliant staff,  but working so hard esp when they’re full and folk still keep coming in. When I walked through  an and e mid afternoon to go to the loo, the waiting room was standing room only - scary.

Sorry to hear you had a trip to A & E Candleflame.. I’m sure you’re relieved your OH is now on a ward and hope he improves quickly and you can have him back home.
The medical staff are all working under such extreme circumstances and it, so far, doesn’t seem to be improving much!

Three weeks in a row a friend, who we are driving to hospital for an outpatients appt in the eye dept, has had it cancelled about an hour before it’s due to take place! He’s getting very frustrated with the situation now… and who can blame him. It’s a long term issue he has so sometimes time is of the essence for him to be seen!

Today the weather has improved and tge sun is shining so must dash and get the washing out!

Have a good day and thoughts with those not doing so well.

A murky day here ,just phoned re replacement hand rail on the stairs ,has to be on the other side now the stair lift is in place, but if that fails then I will need one and visitors too of course.

It will be done tomorrow morning.
My sons could do it but the chap who does these small jobs gets it done in an hour or so ,£39 ,so a good price ,people at Church recommended him.

Been asked to phone to Health Centre re their Fracture Clinic and risk of falling and fractures,——— considering I have attended The Salford Royal
Fracture and Osteoporosis Clinic for bone density tests regularly pre Covid it does make you wonder if anyone reads your records.
I haven’t had an appt there for years!
I doubt things have improved although I do take Evacal tablets - Calcium and Vit D3.
Never mind it is just a phone call.

I do need my hair cutting and I dread it , it is so straight and has lost its bounce - tablets etc!
I look as if I have just been let out from somewhere with strict rules when it is just straight.
I will look into home visits , my usual hairdresser might do it .
Hope all those with troubles of health or well-being ,family worries and isolation are alright, RootsChat certainly helps ,

Well things to do and so Cheerio, Viktoria.
