Hi My wife's GGAunt died in The Methodist Chapel at Windy Nook.  16 Nov 1966 Florence May Turnbull ( Robson) Her husband Richard Gardener Turnbull died the following year in July/Sept 1967.  Not sure what local paper would have covered it but any help appreciated.

Hi My wife's GGAunt died in The Methodist Chapel at Windy Nook.

I can't see anything in the newspapers about a death in the Chapel, but I would have thought it would be newsworthy. Are you sure that's where she died?

I think her burial records insinuate she died at the chapel , but I agree I would have thought it worth a mention in the Newspapers

Here's the relevant page.
In column 5 it definitely mentions the Methodist Church, as Radcliff says

Thanks JenB, I had got there.
I can see the mention of the church on that record but I suppose only the death cert would confirm if she actually died there. It seems very odd that nothing seems to have been in the local papers for such an unusual place of death.

Windy Nook Methodist Church and Felling Methodist Church are two different places but quite close to each other. They are both still open worshipping churches. Going down the hill from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Windy Nook is part way down on the right. Felling is at the bottom of the long hill and on the left.
Bramhallbill what does the death certificate say on it?
